Hello!

I've (mostly!) decided to start painting a few of my miniatures. I've seen a few demonstration videos, but without having tried it (and with at least a week or more before I can actually get myself set up to paint), I'm just trying to decide where to start.

Which of the miniatures are easiest to paint? I'm thinking of starting with an A-Wing.

Also: I've seen recommended purchase lists, but I'd obviously like to keep costs down. I'd also take suggestions for how to start a painting supply kit inexpensively.

Thanks!

Something cheap and easily replaceable.

Like a TIE Fighter.

The A-Wing isn’t a bad choice either.

Even better than which model, is what to paint on them. When I started, I just 're-colored' some panels here and there, just to personalize them a bit. like repainting the red on the A-wing to green, etc.
Quick recommendation, stay away from painting the solar panels for a bit.
