I searched the forums, perhaps not well enough, to find some recommendations for a good carrying bag for games. Can anyone please give suggestions? Willing to spend close to $100, but only if it’s really worth it. I’d rather spend $20 if it’s not gonna be superb. Shopping links appreciated and love pockets to put Game accessories. Thanks!

I use these. It is stitched well, the handle and zippers are durable, and the case is well padded (for the price). There are 2 sizes, one that holds 5 to 6 games while the smaller one holds 3 to 4 games. They are meant to hold the standard, 12 x 12 box which lots of games come in.

Isn't that the exact same as the Chromacast Cajon but with a different name and a $10 markup ?

I’ve read that some people think that. I’ve also read the Chromacast can’t handle the weight of a full bag of board games. Is that the case more often than not?

If you're looking to go cheap, I just use large plastic totes I found at my local Container store. Not these bins exactly, but you get the idea.

I measured my games and bought a bin that fit them perfectly, stacked about 3-4 high.

I actually prefer plastic totes to bags now since I still get some corner damage at times with bags, since I'm usually travelling out of town when using bags in the first place.

Looks the same but the materials and construction maybe different. At least from a passing glance the materials are different. I can't vouch for the Chromacast as I don't have any of those.

My Chromacast can handle the weight of a full bag. I am not putting bricks in it, only games.

Obviously, there's a limit. All my Arcadia Quest big boxes have the Go7 insert. They are heavy. If I was to put all the AQ stuff in the Chromacast, then there might be an issue.

I line a reusable grocery bag with a plastic trash bag, and once I've packed in my games I cover the top with a hand towel.

Inexpensive, rain-proof, and not tempting to steal since no one can see what I'm carrying.

All that money I saved went to buying more games.

I'm a big fan of my Qube Cart. It's the perfect size for most board games, and I find that by forcing myself to bring only what fits in it, I don't bring more games than I can play in an afternoon.

Note that this kind of cart is made by a bunch of companies, some of them have tons of reviews about the product being fragile. I don't know if that's per manufacturer, or just the possibility of you getting a bad item or hitting it the wrong way...I've been using mine for about four years and it handles heavy games excellently.

From what I have seen, the Game Haul bag is the same basic design, but with better stitching, padding, straps and whatnot. These differences are slight and can't really be noticed in a picture, but it is made slightly better than the Chromacast.
