Dear all, I have posted the most current errata and a number of clarifications, based on all feedback received to date, in the "Files" section of this page.

I will update as needed this file.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you see something strange, apparently wrong or confusing: we want to make all we can so that you can enjoy the game to its fullest!

Playbook page 13, paragraph 7 for Card 9 mentions:" A full Raid roll of 3D4 yields "4", "3", and "2", for 8 Raiders less 2 form the remaining Forts along Britannicus (3.4.1)." Even though that total die roll should be 9 leaving 7 Raiders, I'm assuming you need the 6 Raiders for continuity on the rest of the example of play.

You are right... At least for this once, my storyboard had 8 as the result of the dice, so this one is Volko's ;-) (though I missed it when checking... :-( ).
Fortunately 6 or 7 Raiders landing does not change anything to the example...

An error I noticed on the Player Aids:

Both the Saxon and Scotti Player Aids list Coup de Main (in the Surprise boxes) as being covered in rule 3.6.6. The relevant rule is actually in 3.6.4.

The errors already addressed on pg. 11 in the playbook lead to a few other errors in the text and images to the end of the playthrough. The only one that really matters is that Scotti renown should be at 20 rather than 19 once players are left to continue on their own.

Pg 41 in the Harder They Fall, shouldn't the Red Victory Pawn start at 85, not 75, because it's at Roman Rule with Civilian Dominance? (per 7.3)

No: as per 7.2.1, the Victory threshold for the Dux under Roman Rule is always set at 75; the value of 85 in 7.3 is only used for computing the Dux victory margin by factoring in a penalty for not holding Dominance.

Note: it used to work that way, with different thresholds for RR+MilDom, RR+CivDom, Aut+MilDom and Aut+CivDom, but making holding Dominance a necessary condition (rather than a help) has allowed to simplify all of this tremendously...
