Reading the text, the card screams instantly "Thank you Steve Jackson & Ian Livingstone".

It seems to be a text section of an (imaginary) fighting fantasy book.

To be exact a section "50". And as the last words of the text are "Turn to...", I asked myself if the text could be a reference to a specific fighting fantasy book, where I can check where section "50" leads to, to solve this riddle (in case it is one) and look at the card?

Question would be: Is it such a riddle, and which fighting fantasy book is the solution?

Isn't the entire 7th continent effectively a tribute?

As such... What does card 50 say?

As mentioned it is section "50" of an imaginary fighting fantasy book,
mentioning the "City of Livingstone" and "Jacks son". And the sections ends with "Turn to..."
(The game play effect is, that when you got a serenity card you can draw a 0).

I don't have the exact answer, but I believe there is a riddle on this card.

There is another card in the adventure deck that has a 50👍🏽 on it, and I believe the card you referenced is the source of that number. But I cannot figure out what the riddle is.

Exactly my situation too. (Found that card by wondering what is that cardwhistle)
I was thinking the text is a direct quote from some FF book but maybe not, because of that "City of Livingstone" and "Jacks son" names.

The clue is Zogar. It's a reference to Legend of Zagor. If you google for it you might find the number somewhere. It's a bit far fetched...

I got it 5 minutes ago, reading about Fighting Fantasy books on Wikipedia cool.
(I guess the FF veterans may figure it out by themselves, but I never read any roleplaying book myself.)

The only hint I provide (not even deserving a spoiler tag): The text is not a reference to specific FF book.

Ah that hint is enough, there are only 2 chapter which almost all fighting fantasy books have in common:
Spoiler (click to reveal)
1 - where you start your adventure, and XXX where you land when you successful end your adventure.
