Quote: Former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said over the weekend that she is considering running for Senate.
Bachmann, who represented Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District for eight years, said in an interview with “The Jim Bakker Show” that people had urged her to run in 2018 to replace outgoing Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.). She said she is asking God if she should enter the race.

(why do people blame their ambitions/hate on God. It must be very depressing for the Supreme Being)
Remember her?
Quote: Bachmann retired from Congress in 2014 amid investigations into alleged violations of campaign finance law during her short-lived presidential run in 2012.
And what does this tea party favorite bring to the table.
Quote: Last year, she served on Donald Trump’s 2016 evangelical campaign advisory board and said God had sent him as a “reprieve” from transgender rights.
Yeah, that Old Time Hatred Religion. Now time to see how far a GOP candidate can go with the GOP-Approved bigotry without the criminal accusations.
Perfect candidate for your 2018 GOP

Bachmann running would be good news for Minnesota Democrats.

Reminds me of when people (including me) were giggling about what a godsend a Trump nomination would be for the Democrats.

If she does run it should be mandatory that a particular Guns N Roses song be played at all her rallies and speeches.

No kidding. If Rob Ford becoming Toronto's crack-and-hookers mayor didn't warn people, Trump should surely tell you not to wish for the other party to run terrible candidates.

True - though at least there isn't an electoral college for senate races.

I'm one of those. While I was dead wrong that Trump couldn't win, I still suspect he was the easiest candidate to beat. And assuming he doesn't bring nuclear Armageddon* his incompetence makes him a better president than one of the other republicans running.
* Yes, I realize that's one hell of a qualifier
