Napoleorcs At War, 1802-1805
Respectfully submitted into the 2018 Wargame PnP Contest.

Inspired by the Netflix movie Bright, and what wars might have been like in that world during the Napoleonic Era.

The Napoleorcs at War is an operational simulation of warfare during the technology era of the Napoleonic Wars with fantasy elements such as orcs, elves, and dragons. This a 2-player game that uses many of the Napoleon at War (1972 SPI/1975 Avalon Hill) mechanics. Each player will command up to 20 units in one of four battles with varied scenario objectives.

The Seven types of units (Lords of Waterdeep cubes used to represent them) :

DOUBLE OF SAME COLOR = Human Grenadier Infantry (HGI)
A4 D5 Move3

ORANGE WHITE = Human Arch Magi (HAM)
A2 D1 Move 3
Negate 1 enemy Unit's special abilities range 3

ORANGE BLACK = Dwarven Emigrant Engineers (DEE)
A3R2 D2 Move3
Enemy cannot use special hexes within Range 2 (cannot be negated by magi)

ORANGE PURPLE = Hero Command Detachment (HCD)
A1 D2 Move4
+1 Attack and Defense of a adjacent friendly units

WHITE PURPLE = Elven Unicorn Dragoons (EUD)
A3 D3 Move5
+1 Attack and Defense while in a Forest.

WHITE BLACK = Orc Heavy Berserkers (OHB)
A4 D3 Move3
After a combat win, all enemies adjacent to Orcs are retreated by the Orc player

PURPLE BLACK = Black War Dragon (BWD)
A3 D3 Move4
Can pass through enemy hexes and not affected by impassable terrain.

Given the box illustration you might want to add a unit of cavalry (or maybe one elf one human)

I hope there will be a countersheet as well, because having to correlate different colors and stacks of cubes to values printed somewhere is not so much fun (and less fun to look at than some pictures on cardboard would be).

Other than that it looks good. Name is good too.

What does "A3 D3" mean? Is that Attack 3 and Defence 3?
