The second edition map is now posted for viewing at the MMP preorder page.

Beware, this is a big file.

very pretty. Will the new MG:MG have any significant changes in counters?

I am expecting all new counter art.

In addition there will be the "Fortress Holland" counters included with the game.

Were the map dimensions posted anywhere? I'm about to have a custom table built & trying to keep my width to 36". Will these games give me trouble?

You can confirm it with MMP but my understanding is the map has been switched to the 22" x 34" format that will fit in a poster frame. That's why some of the Zones, like Zone A at the top of the map, are on the skinny side.

Beautiful map!

Will the new counters consider colour-blindness problems? Presently american and british units are not very different for me (at least on the computer screen).

I think all publishers are at least aware of the issue with counter color and color-sight issues now. I do not know what MMP's plans are, of course.

There are always guys like me who specifically make custom counter sets for people who have such problems. I can work with you to find colors that are easier for you to see.

I've done this kind of work for nearly 2 decades both for players with color blindness and for players whose eyesight requires larger counters and larger print.

Just drop me a Geek Mail and you and I can work to see how we can make your games more visible for you.

I will point out that I do not work with counters smaller than 5/8" in my own designs now. That's different than counter color of course but I thought I'd point it out.

I'm spending part of today proofing the new counters. Production can't be too far away. Better get your pre-order in soon!

Is there a way I can somehow confirm that my preorder is still valid for this game? I signed on to the website & can't find a way to see my purchase history.

Edit: NM, I found the email. Was actually in December. Hopefully we're not far off now that numbers have been met.

Back in June, I thought the game would be out in August (in time for the 75th anniversary of the battle the following month).

My best guess at this time would be a December release date. But it might slide into the first month or two of 2019.
