Played yesyerday Jamaica at friend and was very suprised that his copy has two standart D6 (1-2-3-4-5-6), since my copy of Jamaica includes:
- one standart D6 (1-2-3-4-5-6)
- one non-standart D6 (0-0-2-2-3-3 - see photo)

Could this be a mistake or just another difference between prints?

P.S. By the way, I've played my Jamaica for 7 years with non-standart die (till yesterday) and liked it much more than with standart one

Did the rules have a chart in interpret the numbers? How did the dice operate in the game, exactly?

The image in the rulebook shows that both of action dice are standart.

We operated the dice exactly how it is stated in the rulebook: first player rools, places one die in the "morning" space, one die in the "evening phase", everyone chooses a card and in player order player reveal & resolve their cards. "6" for six, "blank" for zero.

My copy also had two standard dice (1-6).
My guess is you got a faulty die, but just never noticed cause it also worked well with the gameplay haha.

You can write to the publisher and I'm sure they'll send you another regular die. Or you can just keep playing with the non-standard die, if you like it laugh
