Hi all!

I'm looking for one or two additional players for MegaCiv next Weekend.
The location is a school in Hamburg-Bramfeld, Germany.
We will start at 9 a.m. with breakfast.

An optional first game scenario will be played at January, 12th at 7 p.m.

Details will be shared via GeekMail.

German speaking players are preferred since the other 16 players are german.

I have acquired one player, so we are 17 now.

Last call! Last chance for a really BIG game!

I would have loved to come, but I've already booked a Mega Civ game on the 13th in Gothenburg!

Can't you join by Skype and play two games in parallel

Well, there is still one civilization left to be played. Come on, guys!

I think, that could be fun. But unfortunately, there's no WiFi in our location. And trading could be somewhat complicated via Skype.

'somewhat'...

i'd love to do a double game in the same room once though.

With cross-game-trading?
Will you write rules for that?

You're wrong about that: we are already 3 Mattiases in the game.

We started with 18 players and after 13,5 hours we finished with 15 players. Minoa, Kushan and Dravidia left the game.
The player of Minioa had another date and had to leave at 8 p.m.
Dravidia and Kushan had a bad start and were without chance.

Hatti has won a perfect game in the minimum of rounds on the basic AST.

I organized breakfast, lunch, coffee, coke and beer for everybody and another guy baked a cake.
Most of the players had very much fun and were pleased with my organization. So, they will atttend again next time. And hopefully I don't have to play the first game scenario again with 12 players like on Friday. That was not so much fun, because the team partners were always chatting with each other and so it was very loud while I was trying to explain the rules.

It is said: this isn’t a war game. My experience in Hamburg was quite the opposite. But I had fun every turn. Great game. Thx Flo and John. Excellent organization and engagement: Thx Matze.

Truth #1: war doesn’t pay, even if you are only defending your area. All involved civ’s ended as rear guard or leaved.

In Hamburg there was a poster on some walls concerning the performance of a famous soccer/football team:

Fail. Fight. Come back stronger. St. Pauli

(Matze said: these words are true to St. Pauli every campaign <g>

Anyway I take this slogan.

Of course you can make a war game of it. The winner is probably the passive player, or the very good strategic wargamer.
