I know I was one of the last people in the world to get the game (or so it seemed) and I know the forums are already overflowing with storage solutions, but I had a very particular preference about monster storage that no other DIY solution I've seen so far satisfies. So I made another one.

1) Monster standees, ability cards, & stat sheets stored together. One ability deck per tuckbox.

2) Everything visible from above for easy selection.

3) Original insert.

4) Everything in the box.

5) Easy access to damage/money/status tokens mid-game.

The tuckboxes were printed on glossy paper. They were made in 4 different thicknesses - 3 mm, 5 mm (shamans, imps, and larger/numerous monsters), 10 mm (archers and guards), and 16 mm (bosses), tailored to fit the components.

The tuckbox design was from www.cpforbes.net/tuckbox, and the archers and guards box designs are lifted straight from the files Rik V uploaded to the Gloomhaven files. The main difference from his designs are having a separate box for every ability deck instead of about 3 decks per box and the tailored thicknesses.

The other decks have simple paper dividers to keep them organised.

The damage/money/status tokens are in three separate small pill boxes, for maximum accessibility and minimum table footprint.

Everything fits with space to spare.

The tuckboxes are pretty time-consuming to make, but I think the convenience of having all the monster components together, in individual boxes, can't be beat.

Happy New Year, and happy gaming.

I am actually looking to do the same similar thing with the monsters. THe only difference, I am looking to 3d print the containers as the container will also act as the monster envelope to track damage (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2729081).

Another thing I would like to do is get each monster into it's own container, so I need to recreate the monster decks. For example, print the archer deck 2 times since there are 3 different archer groups.

There are these in the filessection: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/144091/monster-tuckboxes

Looks to be similar. Just not broken down to individual decks.

+1 this request. If you still have the file(s) for printing the modified thickness tuckboxes for individual monsters, that would be awesome.

Very well made! great job

I kinda did a more simple and cheaper solution:

https://www.amazon.com/Maxtek-Premium-Sleeves-Envelope-Windo...

and put the standees and cards inside each sleeve while writing on the top the names of the monsters.

for the monsters that use the same cards (archers, guards etc) i did a simple tuckbox made from cardboard

At the moment I only have a psd file. I can try tidying it up and exporting into png files, but I'm not sure they are shareable quality. I went for single-sided printing, which meant that I only printed cutting lines, not folding lines. The slim tuckboxes are printed differently from the one pictured, without text on front & back and with oval portraits instead of rectangular (I couldn't be bothered replacing the archer and guard boxes that I printed first).

Still, if you want the psd that's easy enough to supply:
