I'm not a fan of the pencil/paper option so I have been using my Lord of the Rings LCG threat trackers.

Are there any generic threat tracker / HP type devices available?

I have a cribbage board (wood with rows of holes for little pegs), I use that. No idea how to play cribbage, but it’s very handy to track HP. It was cheap too, I’m pretty sure I got for less than £10.

Red wooden cubes. I love the contrast.

I use the EPIC card game app and play with 2 Characters.
The 1/0 marker I use to indicate the 'active' character.

For those still seeking an alternative to pencil and paper, after checking it was okay with Themeborne, I've just submitted custom health point trackers to the file section (currently pending):

Escape The Dark Castle: Custom Health Point Tracks

I tried to keep to the game's look and feel, along with inspiration from 80s classics, such as DungeonQuest and The Fury of Dracula.

They're the same size as the scorepad, so they fit nicely into the box insert.

I ended up creating several variations (horizontal, vertical, black, white, compact), so you should be able to find one that works for you.

Tokens are included, but the track spaces are 16mm (5/8") (or 12.7mm (1/2") for the small variants) in case you've got tokens you want to use. We use 16mm half-spherical doll eyes.

EDIT: And they're now available: Escape The Dark Castle: Custom Health Point Tracks

I'm in 'discussions' with Themeborne over the possibility of an iOS App for tracking scores. Although at the moment it's only at the 'mock-up' stage.

I have created a number of other 'scoring/companion' apps before so this wouldn't be difficult for me to implement:

i created a custom health tracker mimicking the pad the game came with. i used a standard 8mm wooden cube as the basis of my tracker design. added the character names at the top for a little flavor and have call outs for how much health to start with depending on party size.

i used a black cube to keep with the game's black and white aesthetic.
