So I obsessively track all details I can about every play of CC I've ever played (Except for you, 11/18/2012 play, damn you!), so I thought I'd summarize it up and glean some interesting stats to share! If you do the same, I'd love to see your stats as well!

So here we go.
1st Play: Jun 4, 2012
Last Play: Dec 17, 2017
Oddly enough, both were scenario #1! (Which I've played 10 times total, every time teaching to a new player!)

Wins by type:
Surrender: 13 of 62 / 21%
1st SD check: 22 of 62 / 35.5%
2nd SD check: 17 of 62 / 27%
3rd SD check: 4 of 62 / 6.5%
4th SD check: 2 of 62 / 3%
Rule 6.3.3(no units on map): 2 of 62 / 3%
Special scenario condition: 1 of 62 / 1.5%
Special Objective V: 1 of 62 / 1.5%

21% of wins coming by Surrender is kind of a surprise for me I guess. Although I do know at least 2 of those were Player-Surrenders. The largest % of wins coming on 1st SD, that usually means whoever won the game also had the Init card in possession at game end.

Winning Score (for SD wins):
35-39: 2 of 62 / 3%
30-34: 3 of 62 / 5%
25-29: 5 of 62 / ~8%
20-24: 6 of 62 / ~10%
15-19: 3 of 62 / 5%
10-14: 9 of 62 / 14.5%
05-09: 14 of 62 / 22.5%
00-04: 6 of 62 / ~10%

Highest winning score: 39. I wish I had more details on this, how did it reach this score without hitting a surrender level?!
Lowest Winning score: 1. This was a game against Gordon from the 1st MN, and just knowing that score, and both of us, I can only imagine how loud we were that night.

Although technically, maybe that lowest winning score is 0, as I've had exactly 1 out of 62 games played end in a tie score, where the victory went to the initiative card holder!

I only kept scores of SD wins, because that's the only time the score matters. For all other win types, it was the win type that determined the winner, so no score was kept, for better or worse.

It pleases me to see that roughly half the SD wins ended at 14 or less score, those are generally going to be nice close games with a lot of tension at the end!

Nationality Played (and my record):
Germans: 30 (14-16)
Russians: 15 (6-9)
Americans: 10 (7-3)
British: 3 (2-1)
Partisans: 3 (1-2)
Fascists: 1 (1-0)
Japan: 1 (1-0)

And kind of no surprises about the top ones. But the surprises are that I've never played the French, or Italians, or any other minor nationality that are in the battle packs. Only played CC: Pacific twice, so not surprised there's not more Japan at least.
Also no surprise about my best record being by playing the Americans. Their troops and deck are just really good for my style of play apparently.

Plays by Scenario Source:
CC: Europe: 25 (Yet I've somehow never played scenario #7!)
CC: Med: 4 (Really? Definitely need more plays here)
CC: Paratroopers: 6
CC: Stalingrad: 3 (Need more Stalingrad! At least I've gotten in a play of Barrikady!)
CC: Normandy: 5
CC: Resistance: 6
CC: FallOfTheWest: 5
CC: SeaLion: 1 (Came out right as I moved to Denver away from the 1stMN)
CC: Pacific: 2 (I think I just prefer CC: E over CC: P)
CC: Misc.: 4 (c3i and tourney scenarios)
RandomScenarioGen: 2 (I love this style, just need to do more of it!)

The best summary of this is just, there are a TON of scenarios out there to choose from. I have them all, it's just always so hard to pick out which one to play! I try to lean towards ones I've never played before, but it's always up to my opponent as well! And definitely need to play more RSG games.

And really the most important stat is:
100%
Which is how often I have fun playing Combat Commander. Even in the biggest blowout, this game provides me the most fun I have in the board gaming hobby.

Thanks for reading if you got this far!

Geeky fun statistics!

Funny that you have only 2 random scenario plays logged! The majority of my CC games are RSG!

Very nice stats, Kleric42 !

OOF ! I have similar data but, because I'm a lazy guy, do NOT want to devote the time needed to analyze 808 plays.

Maybe Simone (ProfessorElm), who has VERY likely already analyzed his games, will be moved to show us the data.

The Italians are huge fun to play, you should try 'em out TONIGHT !

The allied minors are frustrating to play, you should try 'em out TONIGHT !

You had a winning record against me before you moved away. Come on back and give me another chance!

It's true! Plus, you Gordon and Jason are my top 3 most played opponents as well. Kind of forgot to put those stats in there.

I’d be curious to see what the overall nations records are in your games.

Not a great way to format this, so I just bolded the totals.

I’m curious about attacker/defender/recon win/loss ratios if you have them. We’ve gotten to a point where we defend better than we attack.

You can use the “c” tag to get fixed width formatting. As in...

Quote:

Nationality. Me. Opponents Total
Germans. 14-16 13-13 27-29

Americans 7-3 6-3 13-6

Sorry, I'm a bit behind on my BGG subscribed threads, and just seeing this now.

I've collected some stats at my personal website here: http://www.hiddenimages.ca/boardgames/combatcommander/stats/

These are plays logged by anyone who signs up, but mostly me right now. The more people that sign up and log some plays the more meaningful the stats will be!

Currently, the stats are for all plays logged by all users. Personal stats are on the to-do list.
