We're working hard on getting this gem released this year. Here's a small teaser image.

How do you like the looks of the new special action cards?

Fantastic! Now hopefully they will start working on a Agricola big box edition with all the cards and this expansion bundled together!

Some sort of "deluxe" Agricola, what a great idea!

That kind of thing may fare well, if only there was a decent, solvent company around to publish it. cry

Any news on if this will work ok with older versions of Agricola? Or am I going to need to pick up the 2016 revised base game?

Let's put it like this: it will work as well with an old edition as the 5+6 player expansion. In other words: if you don't mind the obvious aesthetical discrepancies, you should be fine.

Is the release unaffected to your knowledge by the recent Asmodee transaction?

Will this be released in the U.S. in English?

Will this match the art of the newer Mayfair edition?

Thanks!

Im really eager to try this! Agricola rev. meets the table every week. Please let me know if you need some Norwegian play testers laugh

@Grzegorz, may I ask if this expansion is going to be just a visual overhaul with some tweaks to the cards or is there going to be some major changes to the rules? The main thing I ask is this: will this edition of Farmers of the Moor "endorse" the Level 3 play? Is it tested to be "officially compatible" with Occupations?

There are no rules changes. Level 3 play still remains an option for the experienced player but is not the main way to play the expansion.

Thank you . I think I read one of your posts somewhere where you said that Uwe never intended Farmers of the Moor to be played with Occupations and it was not "properly tested" this way (thus remaining a variant). I was wondering if the new cards were designed so that the interrelations between base game Occupations and FotM Special Actions/Improvements remained balanced.

The FotM cards have been properly reworded and a few have changed slightly, also with regard to existing occupations, if this is what you are wondering.
