I love deduction games. I have been disappointed with some recent games that have billed themselves out as "deduction games" only to find that the deduction element is very minor or not really deduction at all. Has anyone gotten a sense of how major the deduction element is here? Thanks.

If you have the time to watch a full playthrough, the Twist Gaming one is here:

I love deduction games too, and I've noticed a pattern with my designs... they almost all have a heavy deduction element - Red Death more than most.

Deduction is important in this game, it is a constant trade-off between gathering information and gaining social status. It's not social deduction (like Werewolf / Resistance) so don't expect a lot of active deception from the other players... but if you ignore the deduction entirely, you will die in this game.
