Card City XL advertises 240 ways to play. There is no way I’m going to come anywhere close to playing it that many times. Let’s crowd source the best of the 240 ways. What have you tried? What’s good? What’s bad?
I’m going to outline the combinations and an abbreviation scheme here to help.
To come up with a “way to play” you choose one of the three levels: simplified (s), normal (n), or advanced (a).
Then choose one of five victory conditions: residential (r), economic (e), industrial (i), commercial (c), or happiness (h).
Then choose anywhere between zero and four variants: support of the architect (Sa), ecological city (Ec), leisure crisis (Lc), and/or unity city (Uc).
You can abbreviate a “way to play” this way:
That would be the abbreviation for a simplified game with happiness victory and three variants: support of the arcitect, ecological city, and unity city.
