Do these remain next to the Corruption track for the next encounter or are they put out of play? I'm thinking they remain, but the sentence "Corruption tiles drawn during an encounter, and not cancelled, are out of play." is giving me pause.

Ah. I see under Storing the Game that eye tiles are kept. Please advise if that is not correct.

They stay over near the corruption track to help the black riders stack damage.

You are instructed on page 22 of the Rulebook to place Eye tiles next to the Corruption track. "Out of play" simply means that they are not available to be drawn again, unlike cancelled tiles, which are placed back in the Hunt pool.
