So, I started trying to track down models for locations, but I figured I'd just ask the community as you guys may have a collected specific knowledge. If I want to get models for the locations, what are the best options?

I know some users have cast models, but they seem difficult to track down. I tried finding chess pieces, but they seem expensive -- but I'm leaning that way. Additionally, I like painting, so I'd love to find stuff I can paint myself.

All that is to say, can you guys help me by posting resources and shops which have options for this?

Thanks!

Hey Glen. I recently found these on Etsy. They are not too expensive and look cool from the pictures. Check them out.

Pleased to be able to recommend these:

SickDave Strongholds

If you PM David am sure he will advise availability. He did painted and unpainted versions.

Yup,
Just email me for photos and prices. I'm really pushing unpainted models at the moment in an effort to get as many done as possible

I was looking at these. Some of these are great, but Im interested in how good the texture is -- in general, I really dislike 3D printed stuff due to the texture.

Unless sickdave converted his designs for 3D printing, looks like someone's ripping off his work.

This was my thought as well. There are a couple of them that seem a bit more original, but there are several that I cannot imagine just being copied from Dave's work. Not cool, random person on Etsy.\

edit: several appears to mean "most" the more I look.
