Hi,

I just saw the 2nd edition rulebook, and checked how they "fixed" the 2 characters issue. Do some of you tried the new 2 characters setup? Did that actually fix the difficulty?

Thanks!

I would like to know this as I have heard it hasn't really fixed the issue. Can someone confirm this please?

FL31 - Rulebook (8.5x11in)(2nd Edition).pdf (pg 6) - http://press.greenbriergames.com/project_folklore/pdf/FL31%2...

TWO CHARACTER GAMES
When playing Folklore: The Affliction with only two characters, take the
following actions at the start of each story:
• Give each character an extra Bandage token
(only if there are unused Bandage tokens available).
• Give each character a random Animal or Militia Companion card
(only if the character has a free Companion slot).
• Give each character a random Boon token, see “Boon Tokens” on
page 30. (only if the character has fewer than 2 Boons currently in their
possession)

This was the solution the creators(Twinfire) came up with. It is what it is. YMMV. Their are a few alternate solutions other users have posted inthe past for 2 player setups.

Frankly, the simplest is just have the 2 players each control 2 characters.
