Description
The Scorched Kingdoms has aspects of classic deck builders and Collectible Card Games. Implementing a more strategic movement system and offensive/defensive game mechanic.

The strategy is simple. Construct a deck of Characters, Supplies, and Tiered Cards. Claim victory by either capturing the opponents Throne, or obtaining 10 Scorch Tokens by killing opponents characters or building within your Kingdom.

Each Nation has its own precious resource and every Clan has unique uses for these resources.

While the game is my passion, the true goal is much bigger. I am developing an app with the game that gives everyone the ability to create their own cards. It has videos of my idea process of imagining each character, and the way the images are born and skills they use. The whole process of creating the world of Ethalios.

I only have a couple years backing me in this world, but I think giving people a small taste of imagining and designing, is all it takes for them to imagine something of their own. I hope I can be someone to help, like was done for me 2 years ago.

Components
- 1 Box
- 2 Game Boards/Mats
- 5 Nation/Clan Decks (Many strategies built by mixing & matching)
- 5 sets of Resource Tokens
- 1 set of Double-Sided Scorch/Damage Tokens

Digital Components
- IOS/Android app creation pack, tutorials, and personal experiences.
- FB group SK Legion, to share designs and hopefully build more together.

Stage of Development
Currently most of the game is complete. Im still working to balance all cards a little better and fix some of the wording on them. There are also a few cards and random things missing, but for play testing, I think everything is in pretty good order. All feedback is greatly appreciated, and Im sure I have a lot more to do than I think to make this into a great game.I have the basic version of 2 decks attached below. Didn't want to get too crazy starting out. I can add other decks and expanded cards later if people would enjoy it. For now I just need help figuring out what works and what doesn't, and if the game is something that more than just I would enjoy.

- Game Board Info: My boards for the game are 24 x 20, but you can draw them whatever size suits you. The layout can be seen in the Instructions above, I didn't want to add a print version because it would be quite a bit of ink. If anyone needs a better explanation of the board I can get a basic version on here.

Thanks
I just wanted to say thank you to anyone that took time to help or even just talk about the game here. I have been working on this for a very long time, and have not had many people to share it with. So once again thank you! (Also I am new to the BGG Community, so sorry ahead of time if I messed up on anything.)

If there are people interested, this is a very basic version of what I'm working to create. I would love to talk more in depth with some about other ideas I have.

Let me know if any links are not working or if anything is blurry, Dropbox seems to hurt the quality often.

Sorry if this was not a good thread for the post. I wanted to openly talk about development and creation, just as much as the game itself.

It's pretty close, the biggest issue is balance and tweaks to make some descriptions a little clearer to understand. I am just seeing if people are interested in looking over the stuff so far, and make sure it makes sense to them. I have not had as much play testing as I had hoped so far, and think Im too close to it, to see if everything makes sense. I just know how everything should work, making it too easy to overlook errors.

Just curious, but how is this a game for Storytellers, as your title for this thread suggests?

From the BGG page, and from the components listed in the OP, it looks like a war game which uses deck building mechanics, with little to no storytelling involved. The text on the cards isn't particularly story based either - it just says what the cards do.

Unless you mean you add the story in yourself? Which you can do to any game - and does not make a game for Storytellers...

The game originally came from stories I wrote, and the app we are creating, helps people design their own cards and characters, and write their story into the world.

We had a Beta out for awhile and people loved the creation and ability to share the stories, its really outside of the game though.

I definitely did a bad job of relaying that, and it really doesn't dictate any gameplay, like it sounds. Sorry about that, I probably should have edited the title.
