Newbie here. We are playing with multiple players. We came upon a decision requiring a certain skill. As a group we picked the player to make the decision. Here is the question: Is the chosen player limited to using their character to resolve the skill check or can they pick any character to resolve the check?

Thanks,
Rob

I'm pretty sure the intent of the player markers is to somewhat balance out the party's increased access to skills; if you have a 4-character party, you'll probably have triple the number of skills a solo character would have (accounting for doubling up on skills and because solo characters get slightly more stamina to spend on skills).

So no, you can't just pick any character to be the one doing the action every time; if a character acts, that character's player flips their token.
