Sadly still nothing about the campaign mode, but an interesting mistake:

Quote:
One of the two new Ancient Ones available in this expansion, the Antediluvium, brings investigators face to face with these lost locales through a new deck of Mystic Ruins. First introduced in the Mountains of Madness expansion, Mystic Ruins are locations that offer portals to other places and times, filled with strange beings, mind-bending secrets, and powerful relics.

The ruins only appeared in the strange remnants expansion before.

I have not seen those two investigators in any other Arkham Files games, and they aren't included in the recently published "Investigators of Arkham" compendium. I'm hoping that this is a sign that this game has more expansions and investigators to come.

Sefina is in Arkham Horror LCG but she was new there.

They're not entirely new - Sefina debuted in AHLCG, and Calvin (as "The Damned") was some kind of limited edition for the Arkham Horror board game.

That's what I'm really waiting for but the Personal Stories cards are a neat addition. I wonder if it will include cards for all the previously released Investigators as well.

If they don't, then this would mean the loudest outcry FFG has ever heard from the community!

I suspect that FFG is playing a marketing game by holding the most important detail to the end to increase anticipation and to make people monitor the updates, reading each one looking for info on the campaign.

They've already shown Akachi and Norman's in the first update.

I didn't even notice that, thanks! I guess that answers my question.

No problem! It seems like ages ago for that preview.

One other odd thing about the Mystic Ruins cards:

These new cards apparently involve time travel back to when the 'ruins' were flourishing civilisations (e.g. when Mu wasn't at the bottom of the sea). But the existing cards from the Strange Remnants expansion feature ruins in the present day--Stonehenge and so on.

Mixing the two decks together could be a bit weird thematically. Especially in a Syzygy game. "Wait, how come I'm talking to a guy in Mu? Didn't it sink?"

Why do you think so?

Maybe you could point us to the right paragraph?

I only found this:
"Investigators may be called to seek out the lost continent of Mu, deep beneath the waves of the Pacific Ocean"

... this suggest to me that Mu, in deed, has already sunk.

also this:
"Clearly the ruins you walk among were once seats of great power, but who knows what these cultists seek in those ancient realms?"

... this also suggest that they are not "flourishing civilisations" anymore, as zenshrugs put it.
