Now that I've painted a few miniatures, I'm ready to consider working on a 3D map.

I found some inspirational posts by Tom Kern from the Facebook group posted back in mid-December on FB. He said I could bring them over here.

Enjoy!

Post 1 "Today we starting with a 3D Board of the Hephaestos Map"

Post 2 "Step 2 from the 3D Hephaestos Map..."

Post 3 "My 3D Hephaestos Map has finished. Only the Numbers for the troops are missing."

That is awesome. I'd do the same thing if I weren't so lazy and talentless.

Looks amazing! I just opened my pledge so I'm not quite at the make your own board level yet. I haven't read the rules yet but how does the game handle large creatures trying to get down in the cracks? If they're bases don't fit, they can't go in there?

Better read the rules then.

There is nothing in the rules that supports your assumption.
There are rules for how many units can go on each space and how the special terrain rules work.
