I wonder in which language will they speak... I've been recently reading Spanish blogs about HQ25 including quotes from HQF, and the Spanish from this guy is amateurish at best, barely functional. If he's a professional translator, I wouldn't touch anything from him with a ten feet pole.

It's a pity the interview won't take place on April the 1st, it would be icing on the cake.

I'm guessing that's all he's receiving.

Well he has been such a reliable and accurate source of information, and is so obviously neutral and not at all involved in any of this, that I am sure whatever information is subsequently passed on can be completely relied upon.

I'm convinced.

It's no secret that Gamezone Miniatures uses fans to make translations instead of using professional paid translators. I mean even I might be translating the game into Finnish (from English); I just said to them if they do it, I would prefer them using professional translators. I can still help with proofreading if needed, though.

Anyway, interesting news/rumor, but the game still doesn't ever get completed and mass-produced.

Well, he won't have much work to do, since there's not much to translate from a non-existent game.

Yes, it would probably be that the game will start shipping soon.

He came back today and sent a few pictures and first thoughts.
He seems super hyped. Now he is working on making a video to show what he saw.

Il me reste à réaliser l'actualisation."

So expect to see that there is no casino in Las Vegas, no gigantic property or luxury car and this will disappoint some because there are only pallets and pallets of elements everywhere .
Whole lockers, stored and sorted, stacks of items, bags, prototypes of cards, cards, print samples here and there, in short that every cent was invested in the production.

Except we allready knew this part.

Quote:
I could also manufacture myself (in 30 seconds, yes 30 vi vi vi) figurines HeroQuest metal, see the process (from 3D to the realization of master resin, then the use of molds in the 6 machines, demolding & drying, the sorting phase, quality, the piles of exploitable residues (metal) or non-exploitable residues (resin) A very strong emphasis on quality has emerged from all this.

This is at least interesting as it tells us how many units they have for casting the minis.

Well, there were 3 resin casting machines in the pictures of GZs previous updates. So maybe he's refering to all of their machines. They are still producing metal miniatures (HQ and their own line). Just because we get to see 6 or more machines, doesn't mean they were/are all used for this project at all... I wouldn't bet on that...

I have a feeling they are making as much use of them all as they can.

How much that is is anyones guess as it depends greatly on the casting materials on hand. Sounds like they still have material for casting.

But...

Also sounds like they are still well into the casting process. See my thoughts in other threads on just how long that could be depending on how many minis they can process in a day.

None of this though addresses the liiiitle problem of the game itself. No mention on how far along translations are, or if the rules are still being tweaked so late.

Were are the pictures? Nothing better than pictures to know what somebody is talking about.

You mean his policy now will be to tell the truth? I don't know what he's done in 4 years with 600.000€ but, in that time a lot of honest people have released games with much less money.

Well, if what he saw has the same truth that the Roswell's UFO, I'm glad I sued him.

The tour was a fantastic success. The best quality miniatures are being produced at the fastest rate imaginable. Incredible work! Sure to put fear into the hearts of American publishers!

Do they still have workers? IIRC, By law, they have to work unpaid for whatever period of time, and that period has expired? You need to have trained casters for resin. It's not like plastic injection (I think metal is easier to cast, as well?) where you don't need as much training.

The workers may have been there to do the cleanup and QC of each mini. From GZ's comments way back sounded like they were learning to use the resin casters themselves. So allmost certain that the workers hired were for cleanup and QC.

Moot point if they lost the workers as either way that delays finishing the minis.

Will be interesting to see what HQF produces for the videos and pictures.
