I know there was a computer game version that you could get off of their site that worked really well with AI opponents (might be what you are talking about). Not sure it is still available, but it is a great way to learn and play the game.

The Rebellion variant offers solo play. It's quite a good puzzle, too.

Thank you for the comments. I did some more research on this game, I love the theme and the game intrigues me so much I decided to get a copy.. thought this would difficult to obtain and was surprised to find it on Amazon Uk. I have the app too which will help me learn the game. Look forward to giving this a go and will post an update.
