Silly question, but I couldn't quickly find the answer in the forums (apologies if it has been addressed before)

Gloomhaven arrived today! Can the clear round stickers that seal the box be removed without damaging the artwork on the box?

(I watched the official unboxing video by Isaac, and he used a knife to cut the stickers instead of peeling them off, so I wanted to make sure)

If they can be removed, do you have any suggestions on how best to get them off cleanly? (In my experience, some stickers/price tags need to be heated with a hair dryer to come off easily.)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Why for this life there's no man smart enough, life's too short for learning every trick and bluff.

I had the same concern and initially cut them. A week later and I tried peeling them off and they all came off cleanly, leaving no residue or damage.

Asia distribution, if that makes any difference.

I got mine off without incident. I carefully peeled them after cutting.

You must cut the red one first, otherwise... BOOM!

Jokes aside, I think yes.

Anyway: you are pulling that box in and out 95 times.. it is not gonna stay pristine..

I'm a quitter. I come from a long line of quitters. It's amazing I'm here at all.

I also had no problem. One of the four left a small bit of residue, and I just re-stuck that sticker a few times to get it off.

Appreciate the quick info!

Thanks, everybody!!!

(PS: I know what you mean about how the box isn't going to stay pristine, but it's like when I got my first car back in the day--washed it every single week and waxed it at least once a month! I can be so silly about about new stuff... )

Hot blow dryer is a good way to remove stickers cleanly.

Goo Gone worked great for removing the leftover adhesive on mine. A little on a paper towel and some light scrubbing, voila.

I took them off by hand, no heat gun, no solvent, no problems.

They come off clean. It's also good cardboard stock for the box and won't rip.
