First disclaimer : I have the game. But I didn't wanted to buy the neopren map since I don't like these kind of component.
What I was thinking about is print the map on fabric and add a bamboo mat. I'll post pictures if I manage to do it.

In update 16 of the campaign CMON posted a Hi_Res Pic of the board: http://resources.cmon.com/Board_Hi_Res.png
But maybe it's still too small.. :/

I think that is sufficient because using some interpolation we can resize the image without a loss of quality.
However I really can't imagine what are you willing to do with it !?

The problem I see with a resized image is that the Kami and Mandat spot that may not be at the right size.

Interpolation loses you a lot of quality, especially when you overstretch it. The file is about 2MP (2000x1333px)... for an ok quality DIN A4, you would need 5.5MP / 240ppi. The map is quite a bit larger than that. The interpolation would be huge, making the board less pleasing to the eye. I think you would need a photographic reproduction / scan of the board. Unless CMON is willing to give you the file, which I highly doubt.

Akles wrote: the only issue with this is it's about a 27" x 18" image...is this any bigger than the actual game board? (my game hasn't arrived yet)
i'd like a larger hi-res image; then i could "adjust" the size and have to printed on mouse-pad material to make my own "large mat/board" (only because i was too late to order the large mat via KS, and it's simply not avail now...anywhere)...

ok, it looks like:
- the game board is about 35" x 23" - the game mat is about 42" x 28"
and the image linked above (the larger one) is about 28" x 18"
i'd wanted to make my own mouse-pad game mat, but will need a larger image than the 28x18...and i don't see a hi-res image (.png/.jpg) i can use...
