Hi

I probably miss something.

At the "Second card", the Government does a Train in Constantine & Oran.
"placing 4 Algerian Police cubes in each.."
Where does these 8 cubes (light green) come from ? Since there are only 6 Algerian police cubes in the Available forces at his time.

You have missed something - the many threads that have already identified this and other errata.

Thanks and enjoy the game!

Merci Brian,
(I'am surprised that there's nothing about this on GMT's page).

A revised version of the Playbook will be posted there in a while.

Even with the revision it makes no sense. The Algerian police are on the board. The original says “place 8”. 8 doesn’t exist in the game.
The revised says “place 6”. Six isn’t available unless you pull from other places on the board. Playbook doesn’t say where. It also leaves out when resources are spent and it never pauses to say, “ok, at this point, the markers should be here, here, and there”.

I found it helpful but not as much as it could have been.

On the second card, there are 6 Algerian Police in Available.

On the first card, the FLN did a Subvert in Medea, which sent the Algerian Police cube that was placed there in set-up to Available, to join the 5 others who start the game there.

Resources are spent at the moment the operation is conducted.
