I've been playing with the BGG API for collections and come across a bit of an inconsistency/bug.

The API has a 'subtype' parameter, which helps determine the type of 'thing' in your collection...in particular boardgame vs. boardgameexpansion.

Looking at my collection output, it appears that the majority (if not all) expansions are classed as stand-alone games. In my list:

* Alchemists: The King's Golem
* Suburbia Inc.
* Suburbia 5*
* Catan, 5-6 expansion

For anyone who's used the above, you know they are not stand-alone games. Looking at their details on BGG itself, they are all obviously flagged as expansions, but this is not translated in the API.

I can see it's possible for anyone to 'edit' a game on BGG, but I can't see anything else I could do to specifically flag these as an expansions for the API to use.
