The Giant Inconvenience of Planet X

In Galaxy Defenders there are GREEN, BLUE and RED monsters that denote difficulty... I am about to start painting my set and was wondering if it has the same thing in this game. As in do I need to retain any particular colour as cards trigger off that colour?

Yes, it uses the same system as in Galaxy Defenders, but with more colors out of the box. You'll have green (lowest rank), blue (mid rank), red enemies (master rank), and purple (unique bosses; these don't really need the color associated with them, since they're all one-offs but some cards do refer to purple ranked enemies).
