Cards like the Observatory, Watch Tower, Throne Room and Barracks all reveal or hide cards. I am wondering how they would be used in a game scenario?

Would the card flipped by the Throne Room have its effects delayed by one turn, or by turning it are you taking away it's effects?

Is the Barracks card used to take a 0 value card and flip it so it's 1 point for end of game scoring?

I have yet to back this game. but am intrigued by it's quick play and beautiful art.

All of the cards used to turn cards face-up are used to either; Turn your cards face-up to activate their effect immediately, or to turn your opponents cards face-up to reveal their plans / spring their traps early.

Cards turned face-up by the Throne Room do not have an effect.

Barracks can do 3 things.
1. turn a high scoring card face-down to be one point.
2. Turn a card face-down to be turned face-up again to re-use its effect.
3. Turn a zero point scoring card into a one point scoring card.

Keep in mind that Barracks is the only way to stop a player scoring 9 points with all three Battlements.

I hope this helps

So if I understand correctly, every card can turn a hidden card in your of your opponent's castle rack to the active side. Correct?

Just discovered the game on kickstarter and on facebook, so now I'm trying to understand the game.

You got my attention through the name of the game and the magnificent artwork on the cards. Now the gameplay has to convince me too ;-)

Is there a playthrough of the game?

Specific cards allow you to turn cards face-up, otherwise they will stay face-down.
There currently isn't a play through of the game, but there is a How-To play video, and I'm looking at doing a stream where we play the game live on Tabletopia
