Spoiler (click to reveal)
I have 3 questions: 1)When I place a building, can it be placed anywhere? Does it matter where it is placed, as long as it is in my area?
2)The crate/box/chest index (the ones you open in game) say box A/B/C and it also says box 1/2/3. When I open the first box, which one should I follow?
3)If I am playing with 4 players, do I have to play with Automa, or can i play just us 4?
Thanks

1. Any open plot in your charter.
2. The game will tell you very specifically which crate to open. If a card tells you to open crate 1, open crate 1.
2. Don't play with Automa at 4 players.

1. Buildings can be placed anywhere in your charter.
2. Your crates that you unlock will always be a number. You follow the index from left to right to pull additional cards and other things Lettered crates will be referenced later in the game.
3. It's recommended to not use the automa with four players, but it's your call.
Good luck.

yeah, you don't need automa at the 4 player count.

I just wanted to add that when you open crates and look in the index to get your new cards, there are some cards that will have already been removed by other players earlier in the game. I almost freaked out today when I couldn't find one of the cards listed, but then I realized someone else had already taken it out (it's usually a new rule card).

I'll chime in and say that I like automa with multi-player games.
The two major reasons are that I think it more easily allows players to drop in and out and that they reduce card stagnation on the action card display.
