I just bought this from Tim's site. Just wondering what people think about whether a cardholder is useful in the game. Does it help the flow of the game - is there a lot of checking of cards when the Marshall guesses?

I consider it essential. YMMV.

What do you mean by "card holder"?

Curved wooden holder (think of a scrabble tile holder but for cards) rather than placing the cards face down on the table. Used them with a friends copy of ticket to ride rails and sails and they were pretty handy it has to be said. Saves having to remember - wondered would they come in handy with fugitive so you didn’t have to flip cards over when the Marshall makes a guess.

We just played our first four games of Fugitive and I didn't think we needed the card holders.

If you do though or want to have some, here is what you need:

3D print these card holders.

I have 12 of them printed now. They are just the right size, do not tip, and have a nice look. I did mine all in gray.

If you need a 3D printer, I recommend my guy at http://3dpgh.xyz/.
