Hi All, can anyone suggest games that appeal to the senses of taste, smell, hearing?

The examples I have already are Cooking with Dice (recipes) Adventure Scents (smell), Shadows of Brimstone (audio cd).

Any suggestions?

Cheers - Paul

Spice Navigator requires you to sniff spices.
Stop Thief! involved listening to various noises made by burglars.
Meeple Circus uses various soundtracks as timers, some of which include clapping/drums/etc... at which time players are supposed to execute a trick.

You could probably start a geeklist and ask for contributions - I think you'd get more response that way.

A few kids games use touch - picking pieces based on shape and feel rather than sight - I'm thinking of Captain Silver and Go Away, Monster!

Escape: The Curse of the Temple has a great sound track to time the game. Soundtracks are available here if you want to check them out.

Igloo Pop - Shake igloos and guess how many glass beads are inside them by the sound they make.

Spices of the World has tokens with real, actual spices inside. I've never played, but you might be able to smell them depending on how well they are sealed.

In Taxi Wildlife players must identify shapes of animals by touch.

I'm sure there are similar children's games, but they escape me (oh, see above. )

Some games have companion apps that enhance the game sound wise.
FUSE
Zombie 15'
Sheriff of Nottingham
Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game
One Night Ultimate Werewolf

As you know some games have a CD
Escape: The Curse of the Temple
Escape: Zombie City
Last Night on Earth: The Zombie Game
Fortune and Glory: The Cliffhanger Game
Zombie 15'
A Touch of Evil: The Supernatural Game

The only game that I know that involves smell is
The Perfumer

And as for touch that depends on if you mean that you need to feel something to figure out what it is or if you mean that you hold something out of the ordinary.
Pingo Pingo - comes with a plastic suction cup dart gun that you shoot
War on Terror - comes with a balaclava that you wear during the game

You can make any game appeal to multiple senses without having a game mechanisms depend on them - just by playing appropriate music and eating/drinking appropriate food, and maybe even using appropriately scented candles/oil burner.

For instance when we play Feast for Odin we listen to Viking music (well sound tracks from the Vikings shows, plus an album by a viking inspired Icelandic band)and I drink mead from a horn cup.

Someone did a great custom version of spice Road using actual spices as resources.

Etc.

Any game can be a feast for the senses if you put some thought and effort into it.
