I saw on the website that the refills are mostly print based. Could I laminate the sheets and get away with an infinitely replayable version?

Some puzzles will involve paper folding. Laminating these pieces of paper makes it significantly harder.

IMO, you're better off just printing off the replacements online (especially since the Mattel version is now online) and then repacking it for the next person.
