Hi,

Is anyone aware of any good (English language) solo play through videos for this game?

I don't know of any solo play-through videos, but solo play is pretty much the same as two-player, except that you're controlling both the red and blue pawns and alternating colors each turn.

Yeah, I got that much from reading the rules. But I want to get sense for how it feels whilst playing. So I can decide whether to buy it.

As it is one of my top solo games atm, I'd wholeheartedly recommend you to get it. Works superb with more players too.

How are shares handled in solo?

Don’t recall reading anything about them in the solo rules.

Found the answer to my own question...

Quote:
Relationship between Blue Workers and Red Shares
In the Fishing Phase, you must place fish on your red Shares even if you are controlling the blue Workers that Round. In the Work Phase, blue Workers may issue red Shares.

I’m debating getting this as my first Rosenberg solo game.

Would you recommend this over A feast for Odin or Fields of Arle?

Played a solo game today. It seems a lot faster than Odin overall. I’d be curious to see other replies to this. I love Odin and am worried this might be a little light.
