Café Race is a race game set in a business office. The players take the role of office workers going upstairs to the first floor to get a cup of coffee who then improvise a race while they are going back downstairs… with a cup full of coffee.

This game seems a reimplementacion of Fantasy Business.

I got a similar vibe when I read the rulebook.

I'm surprised that someone apparently thought that slapping a Star Trek license on the game would improve sales. I wonder how many DS9 fans have ever dreamed of being a Ferengi. shake

DS9 is my favourite Trek so far but when I saw this for preorder I got that familiar dread most ST games bring (though I actually like Star Trek Panic). Thank you for the link.

Indeed it is a reimplementation of it. We tweaked some of the rules but offered the classic rules as a variant.

PS: Sorry for lateness in reply, I was not subscribed to this game.

Way, way more than you may imagine.

In fact, years ago at a Star Trek convention, as part of the masquerade, a woman dressed as a Ferengi in a red sequin dress did a number with 6 men dressed in tuxes to the song "Material Girl". If that's not fandom for Ferengi I don't know what is.

So she didn't fully commit and “dress” appropriately for a Ferengi female? whistle

laugh .oO(What were the writers thinking on that first episode?)
