Subject: Prototyping a dashboard rss

Any suggestion on materials i could use to make a test dashboard? Using pegs for leveling values and slots to hold cards upright etc... i was considering looking into scukpting foams? any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!

Foam core/foam boards seem like a good fit. Pretty easy to push a peg or pin into, or cut slots into for cards. Thin, light, cheap. If you need something thicker you could glue layers together and even cut out areas of the top layer to hold components or whatever.
