Nice, cause we can use it on smartphone

Would be better with big map !

EDIT : is it random only ? Or do it balance races' planets onboard ? Cause i've seen some maps that weren't fair for some colors.

Big map is implemented now.

It is completley random without balance check.

Although Stones made a really awesome tool regarding this, I find it unnecessary and even questionable to make everything balanced. Played according to the advanced rules:

1) the last player can turn all tiles to his advantage.
2) if you not opt for 1, the map variability adds to the faction choice dilemma. It is part of the total setup. If you balance the map, why not balance everything else too?
3) brown has the most planets around the center. This will be a design choice. So if you balance the map, would this not advantage brown and thus unbalance the map again?

IIRC when placing the tiles, no two same planets can be adjacent to each other. Your app should check for that.

Do you have a "Seednumber" where this happen? You keep in mind that transdim and gaia (i know thats not possible) planets are allowed to be connected since they are no homeplanets? When iam wrong you can correct me please

The rules just say "no planets of the same type" and I always read this as including transdims. But maybe I'm wrong and this has been clarified somewhere to exclude transdims?

Yeah this and german rule:

"Beim Aufbau des Spielfeldes dürfen zwei
Heimatplaneten der gleichen Farbe
niemals direkt nebeneinander liegen"

What does tile A/B mean in the options?

There is also a 9 tile setup for 3p that has similar planet counts as the 8 tile setup

9 sector
Remove sector 8, 5-7 on backside
Remove sector 4, sector 5 on the backside

Gaia planets and transdim planets may be arranged adjacently

Please try to incorporate Stones map balancer into the map portion if you are able. You could add the option to let it run for a few minutes while the other parts of the board are set up. I had to manually rotate them in my last game to get a decent balance.

I can implement „balancing“ even i see this different.

If you only play games with even distribution of the tiles you would overlook many interesting constellations that would have been very exciting and funny.
But I agree that a simple check makes sense, as it would probably be too unfair (in any case?) if a player could start his engine much earlier.

Could you please keep two versions then? I would not like to have the balanced one exactly because of the exciting and funny constellations of the "unbalanced" one. This game was not meant to be balanced but highly variable.

Keep in mind that if every planet type has another of the same within Nav 2, this is considered balanced. meeple

Done - i implemented also the "+" and "++" options which reduce the max cluster size to 5 or 4
