The new characters from the coloring book (giraffe and puppy) look fun, but I don't have any good ideas for minis... Anybody come up with a solution?

Thanks

I don't (and hope them will be included in future expansion), but there is a kid made them with clay.

Thanks for the link, for the record, the kid also scrounged around and made a couple extra characters from scrounging around other kinder toys, and a couple Gacha Machine toys he got while he was in Asian... (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gashapon)

With some parental guidance, to tone down the power playing (he's six, so the idea of running amok and destroying everything, and the sheer 'win' factor is high) it can actually be quite interesting/entertaining, if your playing within the family...

For the record, someone else also found a small plastic Giraffe on Etsy I believe; so their using that for the other character... Just remember it's all about Fun (Dwarf Fortress TM http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php?title=DF2014:Fun&redi...)

I've never posted an image to BGG before - hopefully this works.

Below is a pair of giraffe and beagle toys we've been using. They're from 'Safari Toobs' which I found at Michaels craft store. Each tube is $10 (but you can use 40% or 50% off coupons to help with that) and unfortunately they're from two different tubes. So it's not a perfect solution, hopefully someone comes up with another idea. (Or if you have small children you may not mind the extra toys.)

They're pictured with Theadora (for scale) painted by my 7 year old niece.
