Hi all,

I recently picked up a copy of Caylus (the 4th edition Rio Grande/Ystari version). The rulebook says I should have "about" 20 yellow cubes and "about" 30 of the rest. My copy has 24 of each color. So 4 extra yellow, and I am short 6 of all the other colors.

Is this an issue in practice?

I am also missing 3 green workers (cylinders). I know I need 6 of these.

Should I contact Rio Grande or Ystari? Any advice on quickest way to resolve this?

Thank you!

You can try Rio Grande first http://riograndegames.com/contact

If not, the cubes are all pretty easy to find online -

You can replace the cylinders with meeples and get additional cubes here:

I wouldn't worry about the resource cubes too much. We've never come close to running out of the supply.

Missing cylinders/workers is much more problematic. Granted, unless you're playing 5 player, you could just use the other colors. Some people really like playing green though.

You’ve got plenty of cubes. We’ve Never come close to having 24 of one material in player stock.

You will need the cylinders to play with green.
