Question as in title. I know the rules of both games, but I'd like to ask an opinion from people who played both (I know Tzaar well, haven't played Eko).

eko can play more players, for me that makes it more accessible.
component wise I would say tie

2p comparison
I like tzaar more, but it is not a specific thing, more of a 'feel' thing. Fewer rules, interesting 'arms race-stack race', 2 actions per turn, not about winning-but making the opponent loose.

eko: has more a constricting feel, trying to slowly choke out an opponent's options(buildings)

Tzaar feels like the slightly better game as it's simpler in rules and more direct in gameplay.

Eko offers a neat theme and style but adds complexity (not a lot), I would say that in my few 2p games Eko tends to be less about building and points hunting but it's hard to be certain that's not just due to small sample size.

I keep both on my shelf.
