Again, for those who feel the French could use a little more help in their fight against the rest of Europe I present for your consideration my French Imperial Guard rule. Starting in 1805 with 1 combat strength point and gradually increasing in strength to 2 SPs in 1808, 3 in 1809, 4 in 1810, 5 in 1812, 9 in 1813, 11 in 1814 and back down to 5 for the final battle at Waterloo in 1815, the main French army(wherever Napoleon is most likely to be found)has available the elite units of the Imperial Guard. These units, unlike regular combat units, win ties when on the attack as well as when on the defensive. For example, the French are attacking the British with 2 Guard units attacking 2 units of the enemy. The first roll off is an outright win for one side or the other but the second is level with each side rolling, say, a 5. Normally the defending unit wins ties but because the attacking unit was French Guard the British unit facing it is defeated and eliminated. Just another idea here.
