I feel like Cthulhu Wars moves very quickly as long as everyone is engaged. As the player count climbs, it does become harder to make sure everyone is engaged, so the time per turn seems to climb. I think it's pretty great as is.
Play by forum can drag if it gets too drawn out. People then slow to respond even moreso.

My vote for a quick game would be four players without HPs, iGOOs, or Neutrals. Also without a heavy doom phase map.

I feel that speed of game is greatly impacted by the speed of map updates. The more the merrier.

I can commit to one post a day, likely two, but at least one.

I think the pace could be increased if less burden was placed on mods to keep updating the map and so on.

In an ideal world we'd have a browser based map like we have for Game of Thrones PBFs, but I certainly don't have the programming ability to set something like that up

1. 12 hour reaction time.
2. Anytime during the Action Phase becomes an Unlimited Action.
3. Roll for ES the moment you get them or
4. The moment you turn them in.

That should solve some of the speed bumps.
