The 2.0 rules about explosives are much cleaner than those in 1.1, and I love them.

One puzzle, though, is the difference between frag and energy grenades.

I mean, energy grenades are (obviously) energized, and do 2d6 damage, while frag grenades are not energized and do 2d6-1 damage. Is that all?

Yes,
That is the only difference. The frag grenade packs a little less punch but is subject to EMP (and the special ability "Mentally Shielded").
