We played this last night for the first time. One of the things we couldn't work out was the outcome from healing in another person's town. It says you pay 5 salvage to heal. Does this mean your characters then heal your characters in full or do you carry out health skill checks and heal xd6 based on the number of successes. We played it as you still need to do health checks? Also does doing this mean you don't need to pay a two week penalty in the same way when doing a health deed.

When you move into a hex it says you draw the relevant encounter card. Is this part of the move penalty i.e. 1 week, or do you need to do a separate encounter deed. We played as the encounter draw was included as the part of the move, but just wanted to check

I understand that healing in another Starting town works the same as if you heal up in your own town. You have to spend weeks but you get a bonus.

Movement and encounter deed are two separate things. The thing is that, after you move you have to make a encounter, pvp or healing. But is not included in the movement.

Also, it's 5 for a neutral town. Other players you negotiate with the player.

The rules state that you cannot heal after moving (e.g., page 23).
