Hi,

Do members of your team block movement when you are on the ship, or can you move through them? (I assume hou cant move through enemies.)

...also, do they block line of sight?

Movement
For the base game there have been some clarifications posted here. The relevant section on movement is...

p.10 Personal Movement
On your turn you can do a move and an action (the action may be another move).
You can move through other characters, including enemy characters. (In the Advanced Rules moving through enemy characters is costlier and gives them a free attack.)
You cannot end your move in a space occupied by a character. (Though you may if you are popping out of that space and staying out; see p.23, Popping.)

From page 31 of the advanced rule book, under "Occupied Spaces": You can move through friendly figures freely. Spaces with enemy figures are considered to be "slagged", so they would cost 2 movement points to move through. You can't end movement in an occupied space.

LOS
I think if you are playing the base game you can ignore characters that would block LOS, since I could not find any rules in the base game rule book that indicate otherwise. Page 9 of the basic rules only talks about module art or walls blocking LOS. In the advanced game, each figure between you and your target adds +1 to the difficulty to hit the target, so if you are trying to shoot past 3 other figures you would add +3. If you miss by exactly 1 you might hit the first fig in your LOS, if you miss by exactly 2 you might hit the second character, etc. To see if you hit you roll against that fig's target number. See "Cover" rules on P 38 of the advanced rule book.

Hi Jon,
David has it correct.
In the base game, you can't move through enemies, can move through friendlies and characters don't block line of sight.

In the advanced rules, you still move through friendlies but enemies are considered slagged squares and get a free melee attack before you enter their square. Both enemies and friendlies add +1 to the target number for whatever you are shooting at and if you miss by exactly 1, you roll to hit the obstruction at no bonuses. If there are 2 intervening obstructions, you check to see if you hit the furthest one from the shooter if you miss by one or the nearer one if you miss by exactly 2.
