Any word on how Apprentice/Training spells work? Not a very descriptive or enticing "school" as it could imply weak spells, unless it is all abut learning from other players and taking spells used against them or taking cards from the memories or hands of others. That could be wonderfully messy.

They didn't revealed much on the Apprentice and Trickster (Duckas's one) spell schools.

What we know is that both are tied to the "learning apprentice" theme, but dukas's one is more one the "funny" side, while the apprentice one is more on the "serious" side.

A part from that, I doubt that they will make them underpowered. Likely they will make them "useful" schools, so full of things to learn new spells faster or to do other things, even if of course they probably wouldn't be the most powerful schools on the damage side.

It's perfectly feasible to make a school not the best at anything, but useful as "support" school for another school, so if you want to make an "Apprentice Necromancer", you are likely to also draw card from necromancy, and use your apprentice cards as support for those spells. If well made, they could be very interesting schools, and the author seems a guy that playtests a lot, so I'm confident they will.
