Apparently, Kepler has been somewhat of a bust or has at least been overshadowed by other sci-fi themed games. It looked really cool, but I've not really seen one glowing review for it. It's been on sale at least three times at CSI.

Of COURSE Black Orchestra goes on sale the week after I use my CSI gift card.

Sigh.

Agra is tempting, but I think I'll wait till it hits $35 or receive in trade.

Not touching that monster of a game until I actually get a play or two in. Hopefully at DTC.

Kepler is fine. I think replayability might be somewhat of an issue. It has variable set-up, but you use the same planets every time (based on player count) and the game could use another deck of event cards so that you don't see the same ones every game. Also, anyone interested in combat won't find it here. I think it may be best as a solitaire game because you can adjust the difficulty and play a campaign where your goals get tougher each time you play.

It is. Unless you hate Euro "exchange this for that" games. I think this is an excellent game that isn't as difficult as it looks (there are a lot of rules, but no single rule is hard to understand or execute).
