Hello,

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but I have not found it.

A French Cavalry unit attacks a Coalition Infantry. The infantry unit is upslope and in clear terrain. It cannot do emergency defence so it is stuck. Now the terrain modifiers are -1 for clear and +1 for up slope. But the slope modifier is not cumulative with the other modifiers.

So does the slope modifier (+1) take the place of the clear modifier (-1)?
We played it as if it did - it made sense ( at least to us ).

Thanks
Walt

The drm is 0 in this case

Slope drm is not cumulative with another terrain modifier

The -1 for cav attack is not considered a terrain modifier even if terrain is a condition
