Where are my fellow speed freaks finding figures in the right scale for Gaslands? The Green Miniatures Mad Cars line is outstanding, I'm just looking for more options.

Nothing that's not seated in a car or turret though.

I wish to kill you, be at rest as to that, but to kill you quietly in a snug, remote place, where you will not be able to boast of your death to anybody

Anything around 1/72nd scale works well. There are tons of plastic army men figures in 1/72. I use a lot of 1/72 modern infantry figure on my vehicles.

In metal figures it can often be referred to as 20mm.

HO scale train stuff is also close, being 1/87th. People look a little small, but buildings, vehicle, objects, etc look good.

I was able to find, deep down several pages of results, several 1/72 scale infantry and tank crew kits that look promising on Amazon. I'm sure there are specialty websites that should have better selections.

Ramshackle has some great stuff.

I've also decided to learn how to sculpt miniatures for exactly this game.

I can highly recommend Stan Johnson's miniatures, particularly the motorcycles. And he does have a drivers and gunners pack...

Would people from toy railway sets be about the right size?

I have a bunch of his stuff, all is good to great even though some of the sculpts are a bit dated.

World Forge Games has some limited foot figures for their Devil's Run game. Resin, gorgeous, but a bit pricy.

HO scale is the most widely available and is 1:87. So they might be a bit off, but could still work. S scale is almost exactly 1:64 but it is not very common. Not sure if that makes S scale more expensive.
